Our Staff

We believe you’ll find everyone at Waller is friendly, we just don’t have the room to show you ALL the friendly people here! So we’d like to introduce you to some of our staff so you can recognize just some of the people who would love to meet you!

Our Pastor/Teacher -

Dr. Cliff Estes
Dr. Cliff Estes is the Senior Pastor-Teacher at Waller. Dr. Estes is an expository teacher who shares God’s Word verse by verse. He is an effective evangelist who has a firm commitment to discipleship. He received his doctorate from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in Discipleship. He also regularly teaches as an adjunct professor at NOBTS during the week. Although a Mississippi native, Dr. Estes has been a resident of the Shreveport-Bossier area for the past 19 years.

Minister of Music –

Brian LaLena

Brian is a native of Blanchard, LA. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Louisiana College and minored in Religion. Among four years of ministry experience Brian has also served as the President and assistant conductor of the Louisiana College Chorale for two years and as the director of missions for the LC Christian Vocation Fellowship.

Minister of Students –

Danny Taylor

Danny was born in Bossier City and raised in Haughton where he graduated high school. He is married and has two children. While attending an electrical apprenticeship after high school, God called him into ministry. He began working with youth while finishing
the 5 year school to get his master electrician’s license. Danny’s been working with youth 4 years. He’s currently pursuing a B.S. in Biblical Studies through the Moody Bible Institute and a diploma in Pastoral Ministries through Biblical Institute here at Waller.
