Naim Aksam to Speak Tonight! (3/21/10)

You will not want to miss the service at 6:30PM tonight! Naim Aksam will be with us to bring a report on The Turkish Outreach Ministry and the many things that God is doing in their country.

Ladies’ Night Out – March 22^nd!

Attention all ladies! Monday, March 22^nd is a date to mark on your calendar! Meet your friends at Waller at the new Olive Garden Restaurant in Bossier at 6PM (or meet at the church at 5:30PM) for a Dutch Treat meal and a lot of fun and fellowship!

New Members Class

A Prospective Members Class will be held periodically in the Church Library. (Watch this spot for next date.) This class will meet from 9:30 to 1PM (during Sunday School and Worship service followed by lunch) and is designed to ensure that all prospective members understand the foundational truths on which our church is based. If at the conclusion of this 3 hour class, you are confident of your relationship to Christ and believe that Waller is the place of worship for you, we will be happy to receive you into our Fellowship either by baptism or by transfer of membership from a church of like faith.

Diaper Donations Needed

The Senior Ladies Sunday School Classes are collecting diapers for the Crisis Pregnancy Center.

New Waller Cookbook in the Making!!

The Golden Pioneers need your help! They are collecting recipes for a new Waller Cookbook! Pick up a form(s) from the Women’s Ministry Table in foyer next to the kitchen and share your favorite recipes with us. Be sure to PRINT the recipe and drop it in the box on the table. Take as many forms as you need (1 for each recipe) and bring them back later if you prefer. The plan is for the cookbooks to be ready for sale just in time to be used for Christmas gifts.

Ministry to Shut-Ins

Do you know a shut-in who would like to receive a cassette tape or a CD of the Sunday morning message? The Women’s Ministry will see that a tape or a CD is made for them each week, but your help may be needed in getting it delivered to them. Call the Church office (746-2462) and let’s talk about it.

MORPHE’ Dinner/Seminar Saturday, March 27^th @ 6PM

A new local charitable organization has been established to assist graduates of the Cavanaugh Center in moving back into society. Morphe’ will provide transitional services such as homes, mentoring, education and/or skills training for those who have made professions of faith. If you are interested in learning how you can be a part of this ministry, you are invited to an informational dinner to be held Saturday, March 27^th @ 6PM in the Waller Fellowship Hall. Cost for the meal is $10/plate. All additional funds received will be applied to ministry efforts. Reservations are required. A sign- up sheet is located in the church foyer, or you may write your name on the lines below and put in the offering plate. Questions? Please see or contact Amanda Ward.
