Ethiopian Deaf Ministry
DEBBIE MICHAELS SHOWN HERE WITH DEAF STUDENTS
IN ETHIOPIA
The Lord put the desire in her heart many years ago for the deaf ministry in Africa. She was finally able to go in January of 2009. She covets our prayers as she continues this ministry there. Pray for Debbie’s safety as the political climate continues to change, as well as prayer for opportunities with all the lost through sign language.

DISASTER RELIEF FUND - HAITI
Some have asked about how to assist with relief efforts in Haiti following the earthquake near its capitol city of Port-au-Prince. The following information has been received from LBC:
To make a donation to help with the relief work in Haiti, you or your church may send a check to the “DISASTER RELIEF FUND,” mailed to the Louisiana Baptist Convention, 1250 MacArthur Dr., Alexandria, La 71309. An online donation solution where credit card giving can be accepted will be available soon.
Moellenkamp Family
Many have expressed interest in corresponding with the Moellenkamp family, so we have included their Alabama address below. Let’s be faithful to continue lifting up Chris and the entire family in prayer during these difficult days. Their address is as follows:
4828 Cove Valley Drive
Owens Crossroads, AL 35763
New Members Class
A Prospective Members Class will be held periodically in the Church Library. This class which will meet from 9:30 to 12Noon (during Sunday School and Worship service) is designed to ensure that all prospective members understand the foundational truths on which our church is based. If at the conclusion of this 2½ hour class, you are confident of your relationship to Christ and believe that Waller is the place of worship for you, we will be happy to receive you into our Fellowship either by baptism or by transfer of membership from a church of like faith.
Special Note to Church Family
In an effort to conserve resources, the decision has been made to not fill the now vacant, part-time custodian position in our church. You can help us make the adjustment to a one-man staff in two ways:
1. Treat your church as you do your own home: Pick up after yourself and others. Remember, guests are expected every time we gather together!
2. Put your name on the sign-up sheet in the foyer to be on call in the event that extra help is needed to keep our facilities clean and inviting.
Your willingness to be available is greatly appreciated as we take this step to be conservative in the use of the resources God has provided. This is not to be a regularly scheduled activity. You would be called upon only in the case of illness, vacation, etc.
