Precepts Study - GENESIS, PART TWO
It’s not too late to join the Precepts Study. This session will cover Genesis, Part Two, which begins with Chapter 3. The class which will not meet today, will have its 2nd session on July 12th at 4PM. Workbooks will be $22.50 each. Contact Elaine Wreyford to discover what you need to do to catch up.
KIDZ PRAZE
KIDZ PRAZE, the Wednesday night, summer-time activity for children, grades 1-5, is conducted in the RAC each week at 6PM. There are supervised activities and free play until 7PM when children will be released to their parents. Those not picked up promptly at 7PM will be taken to the nursery area where childcare is provided for the children of those in adult choir rehearsal.
Anchormen to Meet at Ceal’s Café this week!
The Tuesday Morning Men’s Group will meet this week at 5:45 AM at Ceal’s Café for a Dutch Treat breakfast and study time.
Youth Day Camp Workers Lunch
As a reward for their hard work in our Summer Day Camp, the youth workers will be treated to lunch on Tuesday, July 7th immediately following Day Camp. The location is a SURPRISE!
Let’s Build up our Benevolence Pantry!
Periodically, we have requests for groceries from those having financial difficulties. Can you help stock our shelves? Items needed range from canned goods (vegetables, canned meats) and staple items such as rice, pasta, flour, sugar, etc. to dishwasher and laundry detergent, toiletries, etc. You may also donate funds for us to purchase these items. If you choose to give that way, please write “food pantry” on your envelope so we will know how to apply the funds. If you choose to give items, please place in the box located in the foyer nearest the kitchen. Thank you for your consideration of this worthy ministry!

Youth Camp for Waller youth will be held August 3-8th at the Buffalo River Lodge near Jasper, Arkansas. Cost per camper will be $150. The deadline to register is July 12th.

Youth Camp Scholarships
Youth Camp will be held August 3-8th this year in Jasper, Arkansas. There may be students who will need financial assistance in paying their way. If you are interested in giving toward a camp scholarship, please designate on your envelope “Youth Camp Scholarship”. The cost for each student is $150, and the deadline for registration is July 12th.
Summer Day Camp Needs YOUR help!
Waller’s Day Camp for neighborhood children will continue each Tuesday and Thursday throughout the summer. Please remember to pray for the Adult leaders and youth who work with these children. They are in need of bags of individually wrapped Skittles, Starbursts and Smarties to be used as prizes for Bible memory. Can you help?
Adult Ministry Spotlight
General SS Director - Jimmy King
Jimmy and his wife Alice joined Waller in 1973 and have raised their four children in this Body of Believers. Jimmy has served in many capacities in his years at Waller. He has worked with the Bus Ministry and Children’s Church, has been a Sunday School teacher, is a Deacon, works with AWANA, is a FAITH trainer and has served as the General Sunday School Director for a number of years. Jimmy has two passions: Sunday School and Soul Winning!
Interested in Becoming a Member of Waller?
A Prospective Members Class will be held once a month in the Church Library. This class which will meet from 9:30 to 12Noon, is designed to ensure that all prospective members understand the foundational truths on which our church is based. If at the conclusion of this 2 ½ hour class, you are confident of your relationship to Christ and believe that Waller is the place of worship for you, we will be happy to receive you into our Fellowship either by baptism or by transfer of membership from a church of like faith.

We would like to host a quarterly blood drive at our Church. We need to have 25 people commit to give in order for LifeShare to schedule a team to come. Sign up sheets are located in the Sunday School trays and in the front foyer. As soon as we acquire the necessary signatures, we will schedule a date. Note! One benefit of giving blood is that the donor and his family can receive up to $500 applied on a blood bill for one year following the date of giving.
